Last weekend, I watched the 1945 film called The Picture of Dorian Gray which I now considered as one of my favorite movie of all time. It has been lurking around my head since I last saw it. The story of this corrupted young man who wanted to stay young and beautiful forever. I don't know..there's just something about the vibe of it which I found very interesting.

The setting of the Victorian London East End that seemed almost picturesque and far from the reality, the atmosphere of the scenes. Besides the sterling performances of the entire cast, this adaptation really captured the spirit of the book which I really love.

An Education

I like this film!

So for the last two days I've been trying my luck with this particular website to watch and finish this movie I've been going gaga for weeks now.I have finally finished viewing the Little Ashes after all the long wait I have been through, it's finally over.The movie is very impressive and seductive.I think Robert Pattinson captured Dali's bizarre blend of shyness and exhibitionist dexterity,he really did a good job portraying the extreme and eccentric Salvador Dali, it was a spot on. On the other hand, Beltran Javier is fantastic, he brought me to tears. The pain is genuine. I felt every raw emotion he has in the film.The guy is really amazing.But I must say, for me the movie is more about Federico Lorca than Salvador Dali since the whole story revolves mostly with Lorca, It showed a vague image of what Dali really was and where he came from. The cinematography is astounding but it would be really nice to see it on the big screen.Definitely worth watching.

PERSEPOLIS

I had a chance to visit the Square again. We thought it'll be a great idea to get a couple of films to feed our minds with such wonderful destructions.So we bought this animated film entitled PERSEPOLIS. It was made by an Iranian/French artist named Marjane Satrapi. She speaks three languages including English which is cool. I was astonished by the way she created the film. The execution of the film is very compelling and I think everybody could relate to the abstraction of the drawing. She left an impeccable character in my head. For someone who claims crafty, I think I have a serious problem coz I never seem to finish what I've started.hahahah... So as an artist I intend to look for a lot of inspiration. And for me, this one falls to that category. I'm actually a film geek. It's one of my steeze it gives me a total pleasure collecting. It's like, I cant get enough of it. There's probably a bunch of pretty interesting films waiting for me. And if I cant get a hold of them, I can always go online and look for downloadable stuff. So I would like to give credit to some sites who caters for people who loves movies and music.
